NIAKYMIA Hand-Applied 2-Ply Joint Wrap Tape is a cold-applied corrosion protection system designed for field joints, weld joints, fittings, and underground steel pipelines. The tape features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) backing with either a butyl rubber or bituminous adhesive, providing long-term corrosion protection, excellent adhesion, and high electrical insulation.
The system is applied over a properly primed steel surface and forms a durable, moisture-resistant barrier compatible with existing pipeline coatings. Its highly conformable construction allows easy hand application, even on irregular shapes and at low temperatures. Construction:
